US Post Office

I am waiting for a package and have been waiting for a month or more. One package! A family member sent it without getting a tracking #, so I'm really screwed. I've asked and asked and all they say at the P.O. is they don't have it. One worker asked who the carrier was. I guess if it was a certain carrier "she" might have left it with a neighbor. Not what one worker had said, they always leave a slip telling the person that a carrier was there and your mail is waiting at the P.O.. Well not mine. I've gotten all other mail that has been sent from the same family member. So what's up? I'm trying to be patient but my patience is gone. I called a # I saw on the news for problems with the mail. They took down my mailing address then the info of the package. The date it was mailed and where it was coming from. Someone was supposed to call me back but no one has. I am angry and I want someone to be held responsilble. Does this mean everything in that box is gone?
