I spent 2 months researching and contacting various dealerships in TX and NM, we were interested on buying a Honda Civic LX-S. From them all, only 2 dealerships offered me the lowest price. I ended up giving a 500-dollar deposit and wait 3 months for the car but it was worth it (I wanted an LX-S manual transmission, which they had to order). Besides, they gave us a free window tint and since I didn't need the car right away, it worked out pretty well; I was able to save more money to give a larger amount as down payment.
I conducted all the negotiations via email and EP Honda's internet sales consultant, Mr. John Hummels, provided us with a great service. No beating around the bush, straight forward and, most importantly, respectful and patient. He was also willing to answer any of our questions and help in any way possible, all the paperwork was clear and w/o hidden charges. I paid what he said it was going to cost since the beginning . He had the car ready for pick up the same day it arrived (tinted as well) and we spent only an hour and a half completing the purchase.
I fully recommend this dealership, even though they don't have a huge inventory as other nearby dealers, they provide you with a more personal and honest service. If you are on the market for a car, I concur with the rest, contact Mr. Hummels.
My husband & I had a wonderful experience dealing with El Paso Honda, under the perfect care of John Hummels. Even though the idea of a new car sounds great, I always dread the purchasing process and dealing with "dealers." Mr. Hummels made me re-think this because he was so helpful. We love our little Honda Civic EX, and we're thinking about buying two new Hondas soon. Thanks, John!
I must concur with Happy Si Owner. Very impressed with the internet sales department and Mr. John Hummels was my sales rep. He was very informative and always accomodating to our schedules. He didn't jerk us around. He clearly made it know that he was in it for us. Not some guy working to get the most out of a sale to make more money or boost his sales numbers. We had bought an 2006 Accord EX with Navi back around Sept 2006. To this day we are still very happy with the car and with his service. It was the first time buying a new car for me and Mr. Hummels made it a great experience. Nothing compared to my experience from Dick Poe Toyota which I had gone to prior going to El Paso Honda. They didn't care less about the buyer. The sales rep there went to discuss our offer with his manager for a Toyota Camry. I could overhear the manager's response - "If they don't want that price, they can buy it somewhere else." Such a contrast to my experience with El Paso Honda. Would I buy from El Paso Honda again - Yes. Especially Yes if it was with Mr. John Hummels.
