| About: | The Moravian chef at this restaurant prepares some of the best German Sauerbraten on this side of the Atlantic Ocean. Other ethnic dishes brimming with flavor derive from Austria, Czech Republic and Poland. Accordingly, the restaurant displays central and eastern European decor making one feel as if they are dining in a NATO-inspired restaurant. Portions are pleasing in both quality and quantity, sometimes leaving little room to try one of the authentic desserts. |

Our first German and Eastern European restaurant after moving to the area. For the price, food quality and amount exceeded our expecations. A next day lunch on the leftovers. Service was very good. The wait on a Friday evening was short. We are from New Orleans where good dining is expected. GER is a repeat for us.
Fantastic restaurant! Owners are Czech and make a wonderful presentation. Great friendly service, reasonable prices, keep bringing us back. I give it 4 out of 5 stars and I am very picky!!
The best German and Czech food this Side of Europe: This is my favorite European restaurant ever. Be prepared to wait to be seated, but it is absolutely worth the wait! My favorite is the Jager Schnitzel, it is tender and creamy, the potato pancakes are the best, and for a real treat try the liver dumpling soup! The Svickova is really tasty and the bread dumplings just cannot be beat! If you love German and Czech food, or have never had it and want to try it, this is the place to go!
