This is an amazing place. Great Atmoshere, Incredible Food and Menu, Tons a variety with both American and Sushi, Love their Wines. This restaurant would be just as successful in New York or Chicago and yet we love that we have such a gem so near.
What a great change for our new favorite Boulder County spot. We hadn't realized that Magnolia underwent ownership change...but they have done an amazing job.
The restaurant looks and feels completely different. This was the best meal we have had in months!
The atmospere is very inviting and relaxing and the food was top-notch...especially for the prices. I enjoyed the pork tenderloin and my wife had the salmon. We can't beleive that you can find such incredible quality of food in Lafayette. The menu was extremely creative and well thought out. The new seasonal american fare that they serve is brilliant and really showcases the chef's talents. After dinner we sat in the bar and enjoyed dessert and a great guitar player. The bartender told us that every Saturday now features acoustic guitar players. It was the perfect ending to our evening.
We will be sure to go back soon!!!!!
Excellent cuisine at a reasonable rate: My husband and I ate here a few months back (Apr of 2006). I had been anxious to try it based on fab reviews from a friend of mine. I was so looking forward to a nice dinner out without the kids and was hoping that I wouldn't get my hopes up on this place. We were not disappointed. The food was fabulous! Wonderful combinations of flavors and presentation first rate. We did not eat at the sushi side of the house, so I could not comment on that food. For starters, my husband had Maryland crab cakes and I had homemade grilled sausage with a pierogi (sp?). They were both delicious. My main meal was salmon with sauteed spinach and artichokes. No starch with this and it wasn't missed. Nice and light. I didn't feel overstuffed. My husband had enchiladas which were very tasty. This is the type of restaurant where you feel anything you order will be wonderful. A true gem in the suburbs. I hope they stay in business.
