A bit pricey, but portions are fairly generous and everything seems pretty fresh. As of right now, this is the best place for Mexican food in Castle Rock. It is very difficult to find truly good Mexican food in Douglas County. So considering the location, I'll give it 4 stars (-1 star due to price). Of course, if Yolanda's was in CA, I'd give it a 3. It is what it is.
Very Good. Very nice people. They let me come back and pay for my chips and salsa. Nice!!!
I'm a "regular" at Yolanda's: I eat here at least once a week, sometimes more than that. I appreciate very much that my food is prepared to order (mistakes are rare), and it's fast and healthy. The cecina (steak) tacos are my absolute favorite. They feature a wide variety of salsas, and they're all very good (the fresca is my favorite). The margaritas are delicious and potent--be careful! I've been a regular at Yolanda's since the shop opened. The owners do a fabulous job of listening to what their clients want and then responding. The additions the owners have made lately are wonderful--the new menu board is concise and easy to read, the expanded menu choices are much appreciated, LOVE the summer hours, the staff is the friendliest, most helpful crew I've ever encountered, and I love that they got a liquor license. The ambiance is very nice with the addition of pottery and rugs from another Castle Rock merchant. My only caveat would be to eat in the restaurant; the food doesn't travel well if you're going very far.
