I was medved today to price a Suburban and evaluate the dealership. I have never been so rudely approached about buying the auto as I was there. After examining the auto I told the sales lot lady I would like to get a quote to see what they felt it was worth as compared to what I thought it was worth.
The closer (for lack of a better word) was a male who refused to give me a quote unless I said I would buy the auto today. He spoke to me in a very condescending manner. I ask him not to speak to me in that manner but he continued to do so. I go up from the table and walked out to hear him say loudly " You probably can't afford it anyway." The lot sales lady called after me saying, "I'm sorry". I walked out to my S550 Mercedes and drove off. I plan to tell at least 10 different people of my experience and will encourage each of them to tell10 others and advise them to avoid that place at all costs. I would advise anyone reading this to do the same. I have bought cars (for cash) for over 40 years and have never encountered a sales pitch or person like him. I don't know how they sell any cars.
YIKES!!! It took 4 voice mails, 1 "accidental hang up" by some sales guy and 1 call to Ford Credit for help to return my leased vehicle! The sales people have gone down hill since we bought our truck & leased a fusion a few years ago. They're aggressive and unprofessional...even as we stood there doing the paperwork, some white haired man yelled at another "NO MORE DEALS LIKE THAT!!! WE HAVE TO GET BACK INTO THE RETAIL BUSINESS DAMMIT!!". Kind of a hint that day was NOT the day to buy a new car after returning our lease. We walked out (more like ran out) and don't plan on returning ever again.
HORRIBLE!CROOKS!LIARS! Two weeks later, they are still trying to screw me out of money! Sales managers are liars! Salesmen are rude! Finance is unprofessional! I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THESE IDIOTS!
