Took 5 days to complete the "simple" service. Never returned phone calls or called with diagnostics. The first time I called them, they said they couldn't find the problem with the engine. I asked them if they had driven it and they said no. I recommended they do that in order to properly diagnose the problem. When I called back after not hearing from them for 4 more days, they told me the truck was ready to be picked up and the charge was $40 for the rear differential. I asked about the engine problem and was told they did not have the expertise to solve the diagnostics problem and recommended I take it to Dodge. So it took them 5 days to change the rear differential fluid (a 30 min task at best). When my wife picked up the truck, there was an additional $80 charge for diagnostics in spite of the fact that they couldn't complete it and they recommended I take the truck to Dodge to have them solve the problem.
Really impressed with these guys! We have had our truck worked on 3 different times by them for different issues. They did a GREAT job! The best part for me is that they are honest. My father and brother had always worked on my cars growing up. My husband is not mechanically inclined so i really feared having to trust a "mechanic". I thought they would try to rip me off which is so common. They are very honest at JJ Tracks. They didn't even charge me the last time they did a diagnosis on my truck. I am forever a loyal customer!! An honest repair shop is hard to come by these days.
I went to JJ Tracks because I wanted to stay local. It was not worth it. Besides having to call to get updates on my car, and find out if it was finished, my car coincidentally developed a new problem with the climate control system while it was in their care. They estimate that fixing the new problem will cost about twice as much as the problem I brought it in for. I understand that I drive a crappy car, and it has problems, but I have a hard time believing that a system I had no problems with before I took it in âcoincidentallyâ started acting up when it entered their shop. They did not even mention this problem, until I came back for a resolution.
