will never go back: I think if Deweys prints coupons they should take them. My family went there with a coupon for "buy one get one" but because I ordered the all you can eat fish, they said they would not expect the coupon. But they would be nice and give me 3.00 off. I could not believe it, if you plan on going there don't expect to be treated fairly..... Lisa Centennial
Kick back and eat!: Okay, everyone who knows me knows I love to go to raves with blaring techno and ----just kidding. I'm a pub guy if ever there was. I can be a borderline sportsbar guy but it depends on the place. Dewey's is just that kind of place. First of all it doesn't reek of smoke and the sound of whatever you happen to be watching isn't lost amidst a cacophony of blender, unintelligible sports announcers. What I really like though is the food. I've been there semi-regularly since I moved here to Highlands Ranch and I have never been disappointed with the quality of food or their portion size. The service is adequate unless you get the rookie server (it happens). My fave has to be their Dewey Burger made with buffalo. Better for you than beef or chicken, it is cooked perfectly at medium rare. That and a pint plus a poker tournament on the tube and I am one happy cat.
Horrible policy: My wife and I went to Deweys with a two for one coupon for an entree. The food and service were both average however, since I had ordered the "special" which was the fish and chips at a $1.00 off, they decided that the coupon was then invalid since I already had gotten a "deal" with the $1.00 daily special. We spoke to the manager and the best she could do is say I am sorry you feel that way. The way we felt was that getting a $1.00 off was not the same as getting a two for one on entrees as the coupon offers. We offered to pay "full price" for the fish and chips and take the coupon discount. But appearntly that's just not possible because that would involve rocket science in voiding a sale and recharging. So they decided to provide horrible customer service and leave a client with a very negative experience. So my recommendation is that if you are thinking about eating at Deweys, think again and choose another restuarant in Highlands Ranch of which there are plenty nearby that exceed Dewey's in terms of food quality and Value and far out pace them should you have a dispute with them.
