This romantic spot resides in a beautiful, Georgian-style mansion built in 1914 with numerous dining rooms looking out onto a spectacular mountain setting. Dining here transports you to another time, or at least, out of the city. When the weather permits, the outdoor dining areas are extremely pleasant. The menu changes with each season but generally includes entrees of fish, lamb, pasta, duck, and, of course, thick and juicy steaks. A nice selection of wines is available and the restaurant has a comfortable lounge.
Worth the trip: My girlfriend and I found this restaurant on the internet. She was looking for romantic restaurant to take her new love interest. We could not believe that we found the same restaurant. The drive out to the restaurant from Denver is very scenic and romantic. The panoramic view from the front porch of the restaurant is very romantic. Great value for your money especially the price fixe meals on Sundays. Great view of the downtown while you are dining. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Looking forward to dining again upon my return to Denver.
Wedding Reception: I was at the Manor House for a wedding. The food was pretty good but the tables were cramped and the wedding guests were spread across 5 seperate rooms. It was a great location with awesome views but no a/c and even in April it was warm during dinner.
