well we went to the "land of sushi" of lunch. we got there and we were the only ones there at first. witch was a little scary. we found this place on line looking for close sushi places to the house.

we started with the Gyoza it was really good. it reminded us of the Gyoza we had in Tokyo at this ilttle Gyoza place. well with that our faith was lifted. then the rest to the food came. I had the pork donbori, it was a breaded fired pork cutlet with onions, egg, and a light soy sauce. Rachel had the Maki lunch had California roll and a spicy tuna roll.

well the Japanese food was why better then the sushi. I also had a 2 Inari and Tamago (egg) and they were put together oddly and the fish wasn't the best. with the Gyoza the stand out part of the meal. land of sushi is not a good name for the restaurant

Land of Sushi is an excellent Japanese restaurant operated by a stalwart, polite and personable Chinese staff. I have never had anythign short of great service in the years I have been frequenting Land of Sushi.

The sushi itself is mediocre, but many other customers order it so that is usually a good sign if sushi is what you want.

The other Japanese fair is where Land of Sushi shines. The Tonkatsu alone is worth the trip. It is the best I have had in Denver. Liekwise the teriaki fare here is also solid, particularly the salmon. There is a slew of options on the menu and the dinner boxes offer a bit of everything from sushi to tonkatsu to teriyaki.

For dinner Land of Sushi is reasonably priced. Likewise it is usually fairly busy (much of this is due to it being small, which is a good recommendation as anything could be.

AMAZING quality in a landlocked state!

I travel all over and am an avid scuba diver and deep sea fisher man who eats a LOT of sushi, and very, very fresh fish.

Steve and family will never let you down. Combine the freshly flown in fish with the considerate, friendly service...top it off with sauces that are not found anywhere else and delicately enhance the flavors and textures you are sure to enjoy, and you have not only a meal, but an EXPERIENCE.

This restaurant is the best thing that's happened in our neighborhood in a long time!
