I LOVE this Place !!! Great food and a wide choice of fresh ingredients .... but let's face it.... The Majority of 35+ yr old Adults do NOT want to be in ANY restaurant around screaming, out of control kids .... The fact is that Kids in restaurants = Low $$ spent per seat - That's what McDonald's is for ...
So I was disappointed to find out today that DOZENS does not supply high chairs or booster seats for toddlers.
Well, you may as well put a sign on the door that says "NO KIDS ALLOWED"
I mean seriously. That's an obvious statement they are sending.
No high chairs = no business from me.
Yummy Waffles: The waffles! Homemade whipped cream piled on top of a huge Belgian Waffle with fresh strawberries. Their other selections are pretty darned yummy too.

Since when did being a parent mean being younger than 35? Sorry JT in Wash Park, but not all parents let their kids run "out of control" and feed them McDonald's. And you also missed my obvious statement of high chairs/booster seats which means kids who either can't walk yet or are strapped down while eating---NOT running around. You obviously have never been a parent which explains your uneducated response. Dozen's actually does have great food, I just won't spend my money there anymore. I know many other great places with "fresh ingredients" who are not worried about the low $$ spent per seat because of kids (as you claim) and in fact even cater to the younger ones. Because they know parents will keep coming back, along with friends, and refer by word of mouth to others. That equals good business.
Whatever: Clearly, you are an OLD parent. My parents and myself were/are young and do not really give a crap whether or not a restaurant "catered" to children. That's what McD's and Chuck E Cheese are for. Kids shouldn't need confinement to behave, but lets face it: these days they usually do thanks to Parents magazine etc. We don't need to be overzealous guard dogs over our children, and whether a restaurant is "kid friendly" or not doesn't mean it's good or bad b/c of it. I LOVE Dozens and so do my kids, (who know how to behave in public).
On zaney - whatever: I think you are totally missing the point. It's not about needing to confine kids so they will behave as you put it, or Dozen's "catering" to kids, it's just having a place for them to sit just like any other customer. (which Dozens does not offer) Obviously you must have never been asked to hold your infant/toddler in your lap while you eat your meal. Apparently having a logical complaint makes someone an "old" parent. How childish of you.
