| About: | Vesta, the Goddess of the Hearth, is the most beautiful of Roman divinities, bright and pure like the flame that is her symbol. Latins made Vesta a goddess who personified the earth and fire. She presided over the preparation of meals: Vesta was offered the first food and drink. The hearth conjures up visions of domesticity and peace, for the hearth is the traditional center of family life. It symbolizes warmth, security, and companionship a place for dreaming where it becomes possible by peering into the embers, to find physical and mental renewal and a place to discover the secrets of the future. At Vesta Dipping Grill, we have combined these themes to provide a unique dining experience. Vesta is simplicity, quality, comfort, life, art, scent, relaxation, taste, sound, and fun. |

All around the most amazing place I have ever ate at. Went for my girlfriends birthday and had one of the best experiences ever. The service was amazing. They are there to take care of the guest. The food out of this world! I cannot wait to go back.
I would actually give this 3.5 stars. The pecan salad was very good as was a couple of the sauces that came with dinner. The olive oil served with the bread was very bland, more of a cooking oil than a tasting oil. The service was less than desired. We made a reservation and when we showed up we were given a table right next to the kitchen, bathroom and busy hallway. I don't mind the worst table in the house when I don't have a reservation but expect better when I make a reservation for a weekday night. The wine list is good and they do have a small selection of half bottles which is good for 2 people. All in all, pretty good, but the service makes it not worth the $$.
I had a hard time coming up with a star rating for this establishment. I settled on 4 stars instead of 3 stars due to the fact that the food was quite tasty. However, the sauces were more a distraction and obviously the "hook" of the restaurant.
Decor/ambience: Fun, nuveau, awesome combination of wood and metal. The seats weren't that comfortable and other tables conversations were distracting. The bench seats wobbled horribly.
Food: This is where they truly pull it together. The appetizers were amazing, and the main courses were good. They are all very "in-your-face" flavors and lack the nuance that you can find at other high-end restaurants here in Denver. Truly, the sauces were more distracting than anything else. Some were tasted great, while others were truly quite horrible. I found that my main course was enjoyed much more without the "recommended sauces". Dessert was average.
SERVICE: Poor. Our server did not know anything about wines, although they did pretend like they did. I would have preferred they ask someone that knew. Second of all, I enjoy a casual,2 hour meal, but it should not take 15 minutes to bring me a bottle of San Pellegrino. Lastly, the only people that truly smiled were those at the front hostess station. Other than that, the wait staff seemed not very happy being there.
So, 4/5 stars, almost 3/5 stars, but the food really was well done, even if it slapped you across the face with its taste!
