This place is to be avoided. In their brochure, they claim that they are "not a rank based system, but a skill based system." They will take your time and money, and belt promotions are based on favortism, not skill.
These guys are great! The teachers are friendly, personable, and very good. They combine the values of traditional martial arts (respect, self discipline, etc.) with modern training. You can go to as many group classes as you can make and get a private lesson every week. They should charge more. I trained at their west school for 3 years and only stopped when I moved out of town.
A very good martial arts school: PMA is a very affordable martial arts school which is one of the things I like the most. I also like how they offer kids classes Monday through Saturday. Its also a very family oriented school. Parents and their kids attend classes there and there are adults other than the staff who encourage the kids and help them learn the correct way of doing things they are learning in class. This has helped my son gain confidence in himself.
