About:With small wooden booths, crumpled piles of daily newspapers on the end of the bar, and a neighborhood location, this little gem embodies the look and feel of a true local's corner tavern.     Warm beer and snotty service. The patio and location is the only thing going for this place. Happy hour rates are good if you can actually get service and don't expect a smile or a thank you. The food is OK.
    There are much better places a few blocks away. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

    I like The Spot. They make an effort to provide an experience worth returning to. These days, thats all you can ask. If you go to any other bar in the neighborhood, you get robots behind the bar, like the Blue Bonnet or the other dumps on Broadway in that area. Give me some humans any day.
