| About: | Before fancy buzzwords entered the Italian restaurant marketing scheme there were simply basic meatball, tomato sauce, and pasta dishes made with the freshest ingredients and lots of amore. Pagliacci's has spent over three generations carefully crafting the art of traditional Italian favorites in an authentic bistro brimming with old world charm and romance. Besides plenty of pasta options the menu also features veal piccatta, baked trout, shrimp scampi and more. Weekends can be crowded so call ahead for reservations. |

This is old school Italian and one of the best. You feel like you are transported to a different time, the mait staff is always very helpful and courteous. IS a great palce for large parties of people, take your time enjoying the company and the food and you must have Chocolate Mousse before you roll out the door stuffed.
Italian as it should be!: This is a great Italian restaurant! Terrific food, a neat old building, family pictures of three plus generations on the walls. Skip the chains and come here for some great food. But print out a map first -- it's a bit tough to find!
Old World Family Tradition: I have to stick to my favorites at Pagliaccis, because they are so good, the other menu items don't tempt me. The minestrone soup in the tureen is the best in town, hands down. They make their own stock, and the wait staff serve it to you from the tureen at the table. If you want spaghetti and meatballs, you get a HUGE meatball on a plate of spaghetti. Otherwise, spaghetti is a side dish. I appreciate this. An appetizer I can't help making a meal of is chicken livers. Okay, most people don't like 'em. But if you must have them, go to Pagliacci's. They are tender, cooked with wine and pancetta, molto bene! They have the nicest variety of red wines their too.
