I agree - they are very honest and thorough in their explanations. They get the work done quickly and don't overcharge for extras that you don't really need. On my last visit, I took my car in for an oil change and brake inspection; Dave told me that I didn't really need new brake pads yet and only charged for the oil change even though he spent several hours checking the brakes and other parts.
I had my car worked on by another service station, and it ended up having problems only 2 days afterwards, so I took it here based on a recommendation by a friend, and they were so pleasant and honest I was blown away. They told me what I needed, and any other problems, but also told me (can't remember what) was just not worth fixing for the price. VERY HONEST!!!
BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD! The owners really go out of their way to explain things accuratly and let you know what the problem is and if it's even worth bothering you with. I had taken my truck to a Brakes Plus, a Midas, and a Just Brakes and each place was quoting me in excess of $400-$600, but Alpine did the repairs for much less, and let me know where they were at every step of the process. I was (and am) extremely pleased!
