Too bad I didn't read all of the comments before wasting three hours of my life at O'Meara Ford. Fortunately, I was able to get out without giving them a dime. The salesman wasn't the problem, but management was from hell. They wanted us to sign a paper saying that we would purchase a vehicle if they could give us the price we wanted. When we refused, a manager came out to see what the problem was. We did decided to initial a statement saying we would buy if they met our terms.
When they only offered us $500 on our trade-in that had been appraised for $2000 at several other dealerships, we knew this wasn't the place for us even though they quickly changed their minds and wanted to give us $2500 for it. When we went to leave and ask them for our key back, another manager came to talk to us. This man was condescending and a bully. After telling him five or more times that we were done, I had to take the title of my car out of his hands. Then, he had the nerve to tell me he wasn't being rude. How is refusing to give someone their property not being rude? He couldn't understand that it was their bullying techniques that caused us to not want to shop there. At that point, I ripped up the paper where they were writing prices to show him what I thought. Finally, my husband was able to get the key back and we drove back to Mike Naughton Ford to purchase a vehicle.
Whatever you do, don't go to O'Meara!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! They lied to me and told me so many things to buy their car !!! i am so sad i am stuck with this car i over paid for!!! they also told me if i didn't like it to take it back within 72 hours all lies!!!!! I tried to take it back and they would not budge and basically told me to f$^$ off what a horrible horrible experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is surprising that O'meara is still in bussines! take to heart the phrase a car sales man is worse than a lawyer. O'meara will rip you off when ever they can. I had bought a 2001 Ranger there and the first day I had it the ignition coil pack when out, next my struts and assorted other issues with this truck I tried to take the truck back and get my trade back. turns out omeara had gotten rid of my trade the day of the purchase. when I got ready to get into the truck the salesman elton broke the hook on the center console to secure the console cover. anyone with any common sense avoid this dealer like the plague. there are better dealers in denver. there are no dealers worth bragging about in this city thought better off to go out of town to get a vehicle try cheyenne or boise
