VCS - a true diner experience: Village Coffee Shop is a Boulder landmark - if you are ever in Boulder , you _have_ to eat there -- they serve good-ol'-fashioned "stick-to-your-ribs" meals, and you get twice as much as you pay for. The staff is incredibly friendly and fun to talk to, the coffee is always hot, and the hash browns are out of this world. True to diner form, the VCS is small and packed with locals - so small that the line to get in typically extends out on the front sidewalk... but the service is fast, and the food is well worth waiting for.

If you get a chance to stop by, be sure and tell them that it is your first visit to the Village Coffee Shop - they are always happy to see new faces, and are glad to tell you about the menu.
