Slow, slow, slow. I'm sure their print quality is great, and I love the fact that they are environmentally friendly.
But the service I received has been nothing to rave about. After dropping off digital files on a Friday, I called to check on my order the next Wednesday, only to be told that they couldn't use my files because the font was coming out jagged. They couldn't have called me?
When I asked how I could fix it, the customer service rep suggested I should put it into Illustrator (I'd already provided PDP, PDF, and JPG files.) I told him I don't have Illustrator. Was there anything else I could do? Perhaps I could put it in Illustrator, was his reply. Ummm... No. Sorry. Can't.
So I cancelled that order (for postcards) and said just do the business cards I ordered, please. It's now the next Friday, and I still have no response, no proof, no idea if they're actually going to be able to work with it. (Meanwhile, the order I placed for postcards with another company Wednesday evening was completed the next day.)
Also, when I went in, the guy had no idea what to do with the thumb drive I handed him, nor what a USB port was.
I love working with local, environmentally responsible companies, but I have to say I won't be working with Colt in the future.
