| About: | In a resort town where it is hard to find restaurants that focus on repeat visitors, Cafe Alpine does just that. They keep you coming back every time, because all the key elements of a good restaurant seem to just come together. The atmosphere is comfortable, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is delicious. What more could you ask for? Well, if it's a stellar wine list, then they've got that too. The use of fresh local ingredients keeps prices reasonable, though since it is a fine dining restaurant it can get pricey if you're not careful. The venue is open daily from 3 p.m. |

A rose by any other name would not smell the same and if one is seeking great food - AVOID this place. In hopes of finding great food, my family and I entered the Cafe Alpine. We were greeted by a server that presented himself as knowledgeable in conveying the contents of the menu. Although skeptical from other experiences with the many other frontmen(servers) at so called excellent restaurants, we followed our servers lead. Long story short - 1 appetizer, 2 salads, 5 entrees(no Alcohol - we drink water) and later a $175 check - including tip - again we had taken the bait! May I just say that it was one of those experiences where you leave the restaurant only to stop off at a fastfood place to get something to eat! All I have to say - use the $175 wisely - its the last they will get from us! Greatly disappointing - Dine at your own risk!!!
Traveling this country, one must stop at Cafe Alpine for the culinary experience of
a lifetime. From duck, to mussels, soft-shell crabs, and steak it is all done so well.
The desserts are a must and please try the cheese plate. Your taste buds will thank you.
Wine is must and as a previous reviewer raved, they have some great ones.
Sitting outside to start the night out was special and then we headed in for dinner.
It was a 2 and half hour delight! Dress is dressy- casual in the summer.
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
I will eat there again and again awesome!!!!!!: The most creative food this side of New York City the food is just outrageous!!! the wine list revals some of the best ! super value !
