After a 2 day drive in to Denver we were quite sick of quick sandwich and fried food joints. This place was a refreshing lunch and quite reasonably priced. With tax and tip it was $15 for 2 (we drink water). We had Sweet & Sour Shrimp and Kung Pao Chicken. This was the best S&S Shrimp I've ever had. The shrimp were medium to lightly breaded with a very sweet batter, tails off and not the least bit greasy. They weren't crisp if that's what you like, but I think the lack of greasy breading more than made up for the lack of crispy breading. The Kung Pao Chicken was very tasty & moderately spicy. Only detraction was the of sauce at the bottom of the plate was a little too salty/ too much soy sauce. We got there rather late for lunch, after 2pm so we were the only customers there and service was very fast and they gave us soup with lunch for free!
If you go up to Echo Park be sure and drive back down 103 thru Idaho Springs to catch lunch or dinner here!
Dined there several times. Very tastey.
