Best food in town. Been going to breck for 20 years, and this place is the greatest. Lee and Debbie are the best. We eat there at least two times a week when we're there, and even have Lee cater parties for us. He always comes up with something new and exciting. My ski group is about 15-20 people and never had anyone who didn't love the food and atmosphere. I give them a 10 star on a scale of 1-5. can't wait till April when we're going to be there again.
We just ate their St Patrickâs day. They had some great corn beef they made up for the evening. It was great. So many other plates of food looked so good that we actually came back the next night to try the burrito and the burgers. The place is more than casual (trust me) but I found the people friendly (trust me) and the cook really into their food. Price was to die for with most plates under $10.00. Donât leave the locals have all this good food.
If your nose points upward (snooty), this place is not for you. If your nose is normal, you should try this place. I know there is a bad rating from the 10/10/08 writer, but, I swear to you, if you go there you will see that this place must be on your list of casual places to go for fine dining at a great price.
We were in Breck for 5 nights and ate at Angel's Hollow for 3 of them! The food was fantastic! The specials were delicious and prepared with care and thought... by long-haired bikers. You either get this joint or you don't. If you get it, you will enjoy a terrific meal in a relaxed atmosphere, make a few friends, soak in the local color, and will become an instant regular. If you don't get it, you will think that the service is off-putting, and the boisterous crew sitting at the bar are hooligans. And you should probably have stayed at your hotel in the first place. If we vacation at another resort in Summit County other than Breck in the future, we will definitely travel to hang out at Angel's Hollow.
