Amazing quality of food, fresh ingredients, they even make fresh guacamole at your table. The drink special for the evening we dined there was even an organic infused margarita. For Mexican this was a one of a kind experience, I've traveled to Mexico several times and this is a must do while visiting Breck. The atmosphere felt more like a high end restaurant, our table sat right next to a wall of floor to ceiling windows over looking the lake in the center of town. I ordered the shrimp rellano, my first time trying seafood at a Mexican restaurant. It was delicious, spicy with tons of taste, not just hot. My husband ordered the Buffalo fajitas, which he loved! I dont normally eat meat, but decided to give it a try, it was very tender and a nice flavor without extra spices added to the meat. Staff was above and beyond, for how busy they were, we still had attentive, knowledgeable, friendly service. Being a younger couple in Colorado (transplants from out of state) most restaurants service can be very fake and often depend on what class/status they presume you are. This was overall one of our best dinning experiences in colorado, couldn't have been more pleased. They also seemed to accommodated a lot of families with small children for those of you wondering about family-friendliness.
Tequila is their specialty: This restaurant was interesting even though the cuisine was pretty much just mexican. They really specialized in their tequila and margaritas. The salsas were really good, too. And the service was wonderful despite a huge Saturday night crowd.
Mi Casa: Working as a concierge in Breckenridge, I find myself sampling different dishes from different restraunts. But I always go back to Mi Casa for great, fresh food, consitent service and a all round fun atmosphere.
