After 10+ years, Yum Yum remains one of my favorite restaurants in the entire city. It's a take-out place, primarily, so don't expect charming ambience and cloth napkins. Just expect incredibly fresh and delicious food every time! Yum Yum repeatedly receives perfect health ratings from the city inspector, which few establishments can match. I'm not sure what "Phil R" thinks Middle Eastern "quisine" is, or should be. What is "quisine" anyway? Perhaps a spelling lesson is in order. The truth is, I have sampled Middle Eastern *cuisine* in various states and 5-6 foreign countries, and only two have matched the quality and taste of Yum Yum. Both were high-class sit-down restaurants... one in Seattle and one in Carthage, Tunisia. The point is, Yum Yum is a beloved local Fort Collins hideaway that has been serving some of the best-tasting and best-value food for around 20 years. If you like Middle-Eastern/Turkish food, and know what it *should* taste like (note to Phil R), do yourself a favor and try Yum Yum.
yuck yuck: I love Medterranian (Middle Eastern) quisine, but this stuff is awul. I had a gyro that tasted like a Taco Bell taco. My Girlfriend was puking all day from th falafal she ate (I hada bite of that too - it tasted like dog food.)
Can't get enough: My husband and I LOVE Yum Yums!!! We drive all the way up from South Loveland just to get carry-out from Yum Yums. It is definitely more of a carry-out than dining in type of place. Try the gyros plate and the hummus! Yum Yum
