User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe singer ale was great,I ordered the elk medallions med rare and the first piece was fine the second one was real rare,but I tried it and it was ice cold rare.I asked for a plate and sent it back to be cooked more and didnt recieve it back for 20 min and it was wellll done so I didnt eat it.I think the place is over priced for the food they serve.

We ate at Hunters on Mothers Day (May 10, 2009) and never had anything as good as we did there. We were so surprised at the service, food and atmosphere. I have never written a review before but felt line I had to. This restaurant is the place to eat in Estes Park. We were told the place has really turned around since new ownership in 08. We sat next to someone from Estes Park and they said it was by far the best place in town to eat. I had their Elk Medallions and they were out of this world. My wife had the kabobs and she said they were the best she has ever had. I just don't know what else to say but try it for your self if you want a really good meal and a great view.

We were told this was a very good restaurant since it was taken over by new owners this winter of 09. We were very pleased with the wild game and steaks. There is no place that I have eaten in Estes Park that has an atmosphere like this. (This is the place). Our friends told us about this place and will return when ever we come back to Estes. Excellent, you have to try it for your self. Prices were good also.
