I am a Berthoud local. This place is great! Not only can you have a superior dining experience, you can also have "pubside" dining too. I've ordered off both menus. The duck was excellent, this chef knows what he is doing. By the way, he attended the Culinary Institute of America (the other CIA) in New York State. And pubside, the food is excellent and creative, while still being fun. They really know their wines, too. The staff is friendly and wonderful.

The Wayside Inn is an incredible dining experience! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere is absolutely goregous, and you won't find food of this quality anywhere on the front range. The owner and executive chef, Jeremy Roush, has an extensive background and career experences (Biltmore Estate, The Saint Paul Hotel). When time allows for it, he will come into the dining room and explain the history of the dishes he presents on his menu and share stories of his travels. This restaurant can't be missed!!!

Incredible: I cannot say how truly impressed I was with the entire evening. Food, Service and Value. They don't make restaurants like this anymore. What a truly refreshing experience. They have brought this historic restaurant back beyond it's former glory.
