I have never been to a salon that is as modern and cool yet so nice and down to earth as Tuana. The stylists always listen to exactly what you want and are happy to do it, but they are really knowledgeable and great at giving advice. The staff is incredibly friendly and talented. I should mention that I'm really picky about my highlights, and once I find someone who can do them well, I stick to them like glue. I like stylists who can tell you what would look good on you, and everyone I've seen at Tuana is great at that. It's just a really beautiful, relaxed and professional place to get your hair done. Prices are reasonable and I left feeling fabulous about my hair. Highly recommend it:)))

I had the best haircut and color at Tuana. One of the hairstylists has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost a year . I absolutely recommend her to anyone! In fact, many of my friends now swear by Tuana. I love the warm cup of Turkish tea while waiting for my coloring. In addition to that, Salon`s new decoration and accessories are so European and modern. They are always very accommodating, friendly and fun. I would recommend this cozy and elegant salon to everyone who lives in Fort Collins.

I really wanted to like this place after reading all of the good reviews. I am not an overly critical person and hate to give bad reviews but the experience I had was so horrible that I feel compelled to warn others. I went in for simple highlights and was told that "we don't do just highlights here but highlights with an all over color." I thought this is odd but maybe it would look good. It did for awhile but then when I went in for retouches each month the all over color started causing severe damage to my hair and major breakage at the ends. I also had an allergic reaction on my scalp and had to see a dermatologist. This has never happened to me before with highlights (I've been getting highlights for 20 years now). I still have damaged hair from the dye even though I got most of it cut off which was quite upsetting since I was trying to grow it out. I tried to figure out why the stylist insisted I get an all over color with the highlights and it occurred to me that by doing this complicated color they get to charge more money for the process as well as for the monthly retouches that are needed. Honestly though I have no problem paying lots of money for fabulous hair. I do have a problem with paying lots of money for horrible hair which is what happened to me. After going to some different salons in the area to get my hair problem corrected I learned that many other unhappy Tuana clients have had similar problems with the all over color and highlights issue. I also learned that they are known for doing sloppy highlights that bleed which make an all over color necessary to hide the problem. Also I wouldn't say the atmosphere is very European--having been to many upscale salons throughout the world Tuana doesn't exactly stand out. I would like to mention that the staff at this salon is very friendly and the owner seems like a very nice guy. My husband was getting a nice haircut from him but on principle I won't let him go anymore after what happened to me.
