This place boasts that it is the #1 place in Estes Park for Breakfast. I would be afraid to see the worst. The food was greasy, no taste and would not walk across the street to eat there again. The waitress was hard to understand and did a poor job. We were always waiting for a refill on coffee. The food was really poor. Somebody made up the line of having the best breakfast in town.
The food was good. It was not exceptional. I was expecting a lot more from this restaurant.
The waitress was difficult to understand, however, I will add I found this problem in all E.P. restaurants we ate at, but did a nice job.
I got the chicken fried steak and was surprised by the size of the steak. I feel that it was really overpriced. I was expecting a pretty good sized steak that night and found it was about 1/3 of the plate. It was very good though. My wifes sandwich was good, although not exceptional. It was also an OK kids menu, nothing exceptional. My 10 year old was dying for ribs and they were not offering a kids portion, nor did they want to sell anything other than a full order. He got the pulled pork sandwich. It was excellent, with a great smoky taste!
Overall I would recommend that you look elsewhere. We paid close to $50 for this meal and felt it was way too costly for the meals we ordered. I realize this is Estes Park, but if it had been a fancier place, I would have expected to pay this much. It is basically a diner type restaurant.
The food is wonderful and our waitress was very good. If your up that way, it's worth the stop.
