If you want great food, good wait staff and very friendly owners, go to the Dunraven. Great Italian food and great seafood. Unique, charming atmosphere. One of the best house salads in the country,(and I have dined in all 50 states and 10 countries). As testimony to how good they are, don't go without reservations, as the wait could be long, but well worth the wait.
I am a big fan! GREAT food, and very friendly service. Wonderful, romantic & cozy atmosphere and big selection. Full bar & very tasty desserts! This place is a wonderful hidden gem tucked away in Estes Park. LOVE IT!!!
Awful: bad food and bad service: President Lincoln said once that "You may fool all the people some of the time, you can even fool some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all the time.". I wish our bad experience will save you a bad experience.
The waiter, who reminded us of Frankenstein Junior's Igor, created anxiety in our party, by insistently and repeatedly asking if we were ready to order. We barely had the time to open the menu.
Salads, appetizers and entrees were served almost at a time, further worsening the sense of discomfort and anxiety in our party. Their Bruschetta has little if anything to do with the Italian dish. There was a pint of balsamic vinaigrette in our salads! The green salad was floating in a vinaigrette sea! The pasta was overcooked; both the Spaghetti Marinara and the Rigatoni & Pesto were terrible. Only the filet was decent, although the idea of topping sliced tomatoes with a fake parmisan looks weird to us.
It was with great relief that we signed the check and left. Never again!
