The interior has an "up-to-the-minute" contemporary look that gives it a Los Angeles feel. The patio area is small, but offers a great people watching view. Assorted sushi selections are the most popular choices, but the sashimi is also worth a try. If you are extremely picky, the diverse menu offers a deep choice of alternative selections. Sake and wine is available, but the restaurant does not have a full bar. Reservations are required for large parties, and smoking is not allowed. |

Fujiyama has to be the best place for sushi and rolls in town! Ive been to several other japanese restaurants for sushi but nothing compares to Fujiyama's boundless selection of sushi and rolls. Service was friendly and timely mannered. The only con is the mediocre quality of Japanese style noodles(Udon). Otherwise I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a up beat and contemporary dining experience. For first timers, try the bento box. It will give you a wide selection of entrees for you to sample. Also dont forget to order a roll from the special roll selection ; )
great food! i had a chance to chat with the owner and she is a hoot! the service was good too. i am a sushi lover and have a great experience with sushi through traveling all over the u.s. and japan. fujiyama sushi is excellent. i highly recommend and make sure to try their martini or two.
We heard some bad stories from the Grand Opening and decided to wait a while to go. We went the other night and it was fantastic. The service was great and the food was better. I grew up literally ON the West coast, and was cautious about seafood so far inland, but the sushi was AMAZING! Among the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this place -- and you should try the PlayGirl roll.
