About:This popular pub gives Colorado Springs a hint of Ireland. The interior is very "United-States-version-of-an-Irish-pub" typical and includes the expected dark wooden booths and brick walls. Nevertheless, it is appealing and offers a nice change from the usual chain look. Shepherd's Pie, Tipperary Pork, and corned beef and cabbage are dinner menu highlights, as is the traditional Ploughman's Lunch (Irish cheddar on brown bread) on the day menu. Guinness is served on tap, so yes black and tans are available. Cigar smoking is encouraged.

This is a great place to go if you'd like to have great food, music, and fun! Thursday nights are sing along pub songs. The steamed mussels are the greatest and after a pint you'll find yourself wanting to peek under the kilts of some daring men (if you're a female that is :). This pub is not for the faint of heart. If you want a quiet dinner; go to a restaurant. THIS IS AN IRISH PUB! Expect a crowd of jolly, singing Irishmen, and expect to have the time of your life.

Very good fish and chips with excellent tarter sauce. Their Shepard's pie is also really good. Low key atmosphere and good food, what more could one want.

Pros: Good location w/i walking distance of hotels in the area. The bartenders are quite friendy. They offer a luch type buffet of chilli dogs, tacos, etc., that changes daily, during the happy hours. The food is pretty good, depending on what is ordered. The patio is nice for outdoor enjoyment. The back room has decent pool tables that are still under a $1 per game, at .75c. Not very many patrons, even on weekends, so pretty roomy.
Cons: Drinks are too expensive, and they lack selection on beers. Service is slow and sometimes unaccomodating, due to socializing w/ patrons too much & being understaffed. BLTs lack bacon, and mayo should be spread on bread, not given on the side. Only a couple of pool sticks that aren't broken and worn. The back room, where the pool tables are, is too hot with only 1 working fan, the other fans are broke, and no air-conditioning; it is close to the kitchen so it gets really heated up in the room! The patio chairs are worn, ripped, and dirty. Kinda of dirty throughout the bar and in the bathrooms. Ash trays on patio are always full and caked with debris. Music is too loud, especially when there isn't anyone there, but was able to ask for it to be turned way down.
