The best experience I have ever had in buying a car happened here at South Colorado Springs Nissan!!! From the minute we arrived until we left with our Altima was the best experience I have had in buying a car. The sales staff was very friendly, knowledgable, courtious and not pushey at all. We saved big $$$$'s over the same car that we looked at several other lots in the Springs area with less miles and more features. Then when we closed the financing with their 'personal bankers' I was amazed along with my wife that we got a better rate than our credit union offered which resulted in a lower payment than we had expected. I read the salmel review and have only one thing to say, there must have been credit issues that the dealer couldn't overcome because we were in and out of the whole process in about an hour. I am in my early fifties and have bought several new and used cars in my time and the best overall experience I have ever had is with SCS Nissan. They even have a cafe in the store and a kids area where they could hang out while we did our deal. I never write reviews on anything but after seeing the one from salmel I had to set the record straight. We also talked to others at the dealership that were buying cars that day and everyone shared our feelings about our experience. The only guy that was tweaked was still in a bankruptcy and he couldn't understand why they couldn't him a loan until it was discharged. Duh? We tell everyone that is looking or not for a new or used car to go see the staff at SCS Nissan. They really are good, honest, caring 'car people' in the business and right here in the Springs. The best thing we did for our needs was visit the new location at Academy and Fountain. Thanks SCS Nissan for being the best of the best!!!!!
Wow, you know my husband and I thought we would try this Nissan Dealership EVEN after reading these bad reviews......needless to say the sales guy (Matt) was awesome but the "bankers" on site were far less than steller and tried until they were red in the face to "make" us agree to a vehicle that we did not want several times over the course of a 4 hour time frame. What a waste of time and effort and we WOULD NEVER EVER recommend this dealership to anyone. Take your hard earned dollar elsewhere!
I don't have any complaints about my car, yet...hopefully it stays that way. I bought a used 2006 Nissan Altima and it was dumb on my part but I should have checked the rear taillights on the vehicle before I left. One of the rear brake lights were out so I called the dealership and they said to just bring it in and they'd put a new bulb in. Ok no problem, stuff happens. I also had to bring my trade-in in as well so I had to go there anyways. Well I get there and my salesman Mario who was my best friend when I was purchasing the car all of a sudden had no time for me. I told him about the brake light being out and he tells me that parts and services is closed and he'd have to make me an appointment for tomorrow. It's only 4:45pm when he tells me this. Finally, he comes back and tells me that they're going to take care of it right now. They also told him to take my plates off my old vehicle as well. What does he do, he hands me a philips head screwdriver to take the plates off myself. First off my plates were attached with bolts not screws so your screwdriver would have not done anything for me. Thanks for trying. I keep a ratchet set in my car so I was able to remove it myself.
Not all was bad, John in financing is a really good guy to work with and he stopped and answered a few questions that I had. Also another salesman, unfortunately I don't remember his name, but he's a tall dark man with curly hair took some time and shot the breeze with me even though he knew I had already purchased a vehicle.
Anyways after reading the prior comments I just hope my vehicle that I just purchased from them works for a very long time. All in all if you do stop into this dealership and Mario comes to you first, ask for another salesman. Preferably the gentleman I mentioned earlier in this comment.

Unfortunately, you were not there so you can not come to any conclusion about MY experience .....what I stated in my review is that they tried to sell me a vehicle I did NOT want.....I went to Toyota and had very little problem there. Financing is always the kicker whether you have perfect credit or not because you have to go into terms and conditions regardless and I highly doubt you were out of the dealership in an hour even if you have PERFECT credit. Furthermore being in your 50s you should have learned by now that one experience is not every experience and that a review is one person's perspective of HIS/HER OWN experience....glad you had a blast there! Did you not read the other reviews on here as well, 2 stars are not good either.
I definitely agree, this gentleman (BOB) doesnt understand that we've been through some bad dealings at this dealership. I had explained this to my neighbors who had recently purchased a Frontier pick up truck and again, they did something to make they're buying experience a nightmare. I was really happy with Woodmen nissan, even though it's the same owner.
