Mesa Drive-In

Dont let this be one of those places we let die!!! My family loves the drive in. Grab the kids, the food and snacks, blankets and have the best times ever. No Drama and spending time with the kids. Also visit the snack bar, absolutely great. Ice cream cones for the kids, fresh popcorn, great cheeseburgers, and my favorite the chicken strips. Even if I bring other food I still buy something from the snack bar. Yes you can call in your order ahead of time, but I love the lines standing, chatting with people you havent seen in a while and remembering when we were kids and what fun the drive in always was. I would just love to see some swing sets and stuff brought back. That was a blast when we were young. Support the Mesa drive in, they are part of history and the best place and value.

This is a great place, very reasonable especially if you have children. Two movies for cheaper than the price of one at the theater. Snacks and drinks are affordable too.

I love the drive in! My family and I always have a great time. I do wish more people would use battery operated radios instead of their car radios. When people use the car radio they may as well be in an indoor theater on there cell phones having a fight! People don't want to kill their car batteries, so they turn on the car for a while and then turn it back off. People know if they have noisy engines or not, so should respect fellow drive-in guests! Another tip for "dinner and a movie" is to go to Nacho's! That is what my family loves to eat on drive in night! They will do pick up food, even chips and salsa and it's SOOOOO good! Sometimes we even drive from Colorado Springs just to eat white taco's at Nacho's!

It's great that you support the drive in by attending, but, buying food from the snack bar is key to the drive ins survival. I'm not saying not to support local restraunts, but dinner and a movie at the drive in in my opinion would eating the great food that the snack bar provides.
