    Best fine dining in Cortez. Real Italian food (not pizza) with a good wine list. Sometimes crowded as the tables are close together.

    Debbie is anal, but the food is excellent: I love all the food! White sauce is GREAT And the homemade desserts are to die for!

    All around excellent: Had dinner at Nero's while on a trip recently and it truly was a wonderful dining experience. The food was superb and the service pleasan. I had the Mediterranean Penne which has prosciutto, pine nuts, olives, feta cheese and more tossed in olive oil. My friend had the Italian Stroganoff which had meatballs, feta, and I forget what else tossed in a very light alfredo sauce...magnifico! Salads were delightful and served with an anitpasto to the side. Highly recommended if you find yourself in Cortez or Mesa Verde for a night!
