Check the prices before you go and be prepared to stay a while. I had a salon manicure and pedicure at Aromatherapy. The salon was nice, though a bit confused, not sure whether it wanted to be a clothing store or spa. There is a small corner where the manis and pedis are done, and what appeared to be a multifunctional room for waxing and massage. I had plenty of time to take this in, since I was there 2 1/2 hours (!!!). Yes, I was on vacation but that was still a very long time to be sitting in my little corner. The owner is a lovely person, but she was constantly distracted by the clutter (the lady next to me waited 25 minutes for her pedicure while she straightened the salon, trying to chat with us all the while). At the end of it all, I was blown away by the $125 price tag, and even more put off when, as the owner asked me whether I wanted to put the tip on my credit card, finished with "is 20% okay?" Now I may very well have tipped 20%, but I thought it poor form to take that decision away from me. (Like I was going to suggest anything less in front of a room full of people!) The manicure and pedicure were perfectly nice, and the owner even does her own salt scrub, but I do not think the experience warranted the price.
Excellent massages! Aromatherapy's facials are also delightful. Will choose them again next time we're in Telluride.
