Good place in general. Nice atmosphere and very good location in Vail Village. The expense is the major downside but you are in Vail so everything is expensive. La Tour is still on the high side even for expensive places. I had their Caesar salad which I though was ok, but another in our party raved about it. I also had the ravoli which again I though was good, but others in our party raved about their entrees. So in general the restaurant seemed to be a crowd pleaser and the atmosphere and service were very good.
the service was okay...their lobster bisque is expensive and not so great...but i ordered the "dover sole" and it was amazing!!!!!!!!!! not too heavy or anything. i will definitely go to la tour again if im ever visiting vail! the locals recommended this place and im glad they did.
