Back then, they bought their windows from Denver and only did the installation, but soon realized they wanted a better product for their customers. With the help of an Economic Development Loan, they started manufacturing their own windows in a little 3, 000 sq. ft. shop and soon developed a reputation for having the best window products in Wyoming. Today customers drive in from all over Wyoming, Colorado & Nebraska to buy windows from Gill. Over the years, Gill Window has had the opportunities to become a mass producer like Pella & Andersen, but chose to stay small because "We'd rather make a few good windows.
