| About: | If you grow weary of climbing mountains this attraction allows you to mole inside one instead. Originally deemed as the "Eighth Wonder of the World" the caverns, 45 miles away from Aspen, shut down during World War I and did not regain attraction-status until the 80s. The guided Family Tour is a great way to get awed by stalagmites and stalactites and lasts about two hours. The adventurous can opt for the guided Wild Tour which explores many of the cave's undeveloped chambers. Advanced reservations are required for the Wild Tour and is restricted to kids over 13. |
| Hours: | Mo to Su from 10:00am to 06:00pm |

Fun, Fun, Fun: Just visited here and this was beautiful, fun for everyone, you can tour the caves, ride horses, ride a coster over the side of the mountain, swing out over the canon....Riding the sky lift itself was breath taking, I have two children 5 and 2 and they had a great time.
fun for the whole family: The caves tours are so amazing. Words can not even describe them. You just have to see it for yourself. They just put a brand new adventure park up by the caves. It inculdes: a gaint swing that goes over the canyon, a restraunt and bar ( very good food) and a little snack bar (hot dogs, snowcones, beer, ect.) a zip line (one of my fav.) rock climbing, gift shop, and EVERYONES favorite, the tobogen ride, this is worth the whole trip. fun for all ages. And for the small kids they have a shaded sand box. If you enjoy the mountains and their beauty along with being outside this is something you and your family will love.
