The service for our meal was awful! Several of the waitstaff told us that they were "very busy tonight, couldn't believe how busy they were..." Part of the dining experience is feeling like your wait person is there to take care of you. We did not have that experience.
We did however get a little extra with our meal. A hair. I do believe that if you go to a "nice" restaurant you meal should be checked by the kitchen/staff before making it to your table.
ah. rivers...: well, i enjoyed the service... and the spinach salad was pretty good. but it was a bit steep. and the salmon didn't have much flavor. but back to the service. very nice. our waitress got a great tip. she was amazing. and our bottle of wine was pretty good. a different waiter brought that out though, and it was really nice to see a waiter that remembered all his stuff. such as 'serve the girls first', and 'let the person that ordered it get to taste it first'. just the lil things. and my warmed spinach salad was really good! even though i couldn't finish it because it was ... just too much. i'm not sure if it was the sauce or what...
bottom line, i just wasn't impressed with the food. and shouldnt that be the focus of a resturant?
