Adding Jimmy's to my list of Favs: With so many favorite restaurants in Aspen, it is hard to branch out and try new things. Our food calendar opened up a bit this trip with the closing of Mother Lode and La Cocina. I am very glad we tried Jimmy's. The crab cakes were just the way I like them: all crab, no filler. The red and yellow tomato salad was good, but not awesome. The filet was cooked to perfection and the red trout was also outstanding. The vibe in the restaurant was lively, but not too loud. By the time we left at around 10pm, the bar was packed with people, making it a little annoying to push through on the way to the exit. Overall, the experience was great and Jimmy’s has earned a spot on our short list of Aspen favorites.
