Mr Child is the BEST!: My parents crashed their motor home coming down the Big Horn Mountains. Neither were hurt and Mr. Child was called to come out and haul the RV to Cody. He was recommended by the Wyoming State Patrol officer on scene. He helped my parents find a hotel, securely stored the RV, and while we were in his lot all weekend trying to salvage what we could, he helped to keep my Dad calm, he went out of his way to find someone locally who would buy the RV for scrap, and even gave Dad keys to the gate so we could get in anytime and work on the RV. He is a class act!
Highly recommend: My fuel pump gave out on the way to Yellowstone in May 2006... on the curvy road that enters the NE section of Yellowstone Park. The locals where I broke down recommended Child Wrecker. (Cody, WY area) I was in a remote location with no services for a good many miles. Mr. Child was there within 1.5 hours of calling him. He said he would be there in 1.5 hours and he was. He is an extremely safe driver and treated my vehicle with the utmost care. He has many great stories of the local area that come as a bonus on the ride back to town. He made sure I had a good place to stay and eat that night before he left. It was a pleasure meeting him. The cost to tow me out was $300 but considering the time it took to drive those winding mtn roads, distance, truck wear, fuel prices (I bet wreckers get terrible gas mileage in 15mph uphill curves), etc... I consider that $300 a very fair price. (I only wish I'd purchased a GM motor club membership before I left!) I highly recommend this company.
Highly Recommended Too: In response to Richie's review, we had what sounds like an almost identical experience 14 years ago ... except in our case it was a 30-foot RV that was broken down, and it was after hours on a national holiday. I echo every detail of what Richie said.
