   This theater is like a step back in time in some ways. However, the audio/visual and seating is entirely up to date. The ticket prices are extremely reasonable. The snack bar prices make it feasable to actually enjoy a movie AND popcorn. The theater itself is one of the cleanest I've ever ever experienced. I love the old pictures in the lobby and snack bar showing the theater in its younger years. The photos make you remember that it used to be social event to go to the movies. As to the lack of R-rated movies, it's a small community and to have enough draw to fill a theater, it probably doesn't make sense to limit your potential audience to only those 17 and up. If the family oriented movies aren't to your liking and if you are old enough to see them, you're old enough to make the 30 mile drive east to a more modern theater.
   The only negative for me is that the outside of the theater need restoring; it almost looks as though it is out of business.

   Spare us your family values!!!: The owners are right wing conservatives or hard core evangelists! Therefore, they only show family oriented movies which the majority are animated! I'm so sick of these owners, they should be professional and give the community what they want to watch not what they think the community should be viewing. God forbid they show an R Rated movie. Do the community a favor and sell it to someone who won't let there beliefs get in the way of what is shown in the theater!!!

   First visit: The movie quality was average, but the theater was clean and the seats we comfortable. Service was excellent, we were greeted at the door and shown to the correct room, told exactly how much of the show we had missed (we were a bit late)and offered a later movie showing. The popcorn and soda were inexpensive and generous, the taste was fairly good. Overall, I liked my first visit and will definitely go back sson.
