User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsNot to be overlooked, the Gannett Grill, which is just across the patio from the Cow Fish, and is connected to the Lander Bar, also has great food. I have never had anything there that was not good. The burgers are supreme- I would rate the Swiss Piggy as the best burger in Wyoming. Nice, light pizzas, great salads, and various sandwiches also adorn the menu. Grab a pint of Rockchuck Rye (brewed in the Cowfish), and kick back on the patio for the perfect Wyoming meal.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOne of the top ten meals we have had!: We were spending a couple of days in Lander, Wyoming as we followed our son's bicycle trip across the US. One of the locals recommended Cowfish as the place to have an excellent meal. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio as the weather was perfect. My husband had Top Sirloin marinated in bourbon which came with garlic mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables. I had fish tacos with the fish grilled. It was perfectly seasoned and very nicely presented. For an appetizer we had seared ahi over cole slaw that had wasabi vinegarette. Dessert was key lime mousse for me (fabulous) and Warm Berry Crisp for my husband (excellent). They have a decent wine selection and their prices are very reasonable for the quality of food presented. The service was excellent; our waitress was attentive without being annoying. Highly recommended!
