What a nightmare! I will not return to this restaurant!
The dining room and bathrooms were filthy, and the dishes dried on, crusty stuff on them. Our waitress had open, oozing sores on her hands and arms, and her teeth looked like they hadn't been brushed in months! She did not get our orders right, and the food was horrible! My family had nasty stomach cramps all evening after dining at Los Agaves.
This used to be a nice restaurant with good meals, but it has gotten progressively worse over the past two years!
Always busy, this must mean its is agreat place to eat, good service people always friendly and the food is always good.
Closest thing to real Mexican we have is Oliva"s Kitchen downtown.
Consistently poor service, that has only become worse in the last few months. Every time I have eaten there, at least one of my utensils or glasses is not clean. Orders are commonly mixed up by wait staff. The food is only authentic in the sense that they use a few ingredients or methods that are traditional to Mexican cuisine, but it falls far short of truly authentic Mexican food. The menu features Americanized recipes that are just a step up from Taco Bell or Taco Johns. Los Agaves is busy for the same reason fast food restaurants are busy, not because it is good food or good service.
