This place is average at best. Very bland and more expensive than other Mexican themed restraunts, and can't believe people say it is authentic, because its about as authentic as getting a mexican style dish at other regular family restraunts. No spice, even when we ordered our dishes "hot". The fajitas, are not the expected sizzle kind either making them kind of fake, just random meat and onions thrown on a cold plate right before it is brought out to you. They even managed to get my order wrong, and when they brought it out a second time, it arrived like someone dumped a whole bottle of season salt on it for fun. They did refund only a portion of my meal.
Pretty good food, no where near the best I've had though. A lot of the dishes are quite spicy, whether you like it or not. The restaurant doesn't really have a Latin American feel either. Pop music playing in the background and pictures of NYC on the wall? Not what I would call 'authentic'. It's always fairly busy though so people like it. Just not my first choice by any means. For the money you can find much better. Hell, for LESS money you can find better(try Taqueria La Costa).
Mama Inez is delicious food. They also have a dining area with TVs to watch sports. The food costs a lot but you get a lot of food. I love their Chicken Changa. It's delicious.
