Now Known as Southway Pizzeria & Deli: WOW!! I moved nearby this restaurant, not really knowing what to expect. The first time I ordered pizza from them to be delivered, they gathered all my information on the phone! Since then, I can call- and I do AT LEAST once a week now, and they know my last order, and I can change it as I wish! I get coupons from them every few months, but the best part of this restaurant is the Pizza and the Sandwiches!! They always tell me it will be about 40 minutes for my food to arrive, but it has never taken that long yet! Their hours are Saturday thru Thursday 11 am to 9 pm, and Friday from 11 am to 10 pm. At times I wish they were open 24 hours a day, I must admit, I do get hungry for pizza at the strangest times!! I have also tried their toasted sandwiches, and they are very good!! They also have a selection of choices for salads, chicken wings, wraps and bread sticks. They have a children's menu as well, for those more picky eaters even! Their Stromboli's are to die for, but they recommend you don't order them for delivery...I agree! I think one of my favorite items, so far, would have to be their sicilian style cheese bread. It is smothered in cheeses, with herbs and garlic butter...Mmmmmm. Their regular bread sticks and the stuffed bread sticks are fresh and delicious! I guess what all of this review is trying to communicate is, that Southway Pizzeria and Deli is the best Pizza in Lewiston, I LOVE IT!! Call them tonight!! (ok, tomorrow night, it's late now!) I am even going to be talking to the management about getting their menu posted on line for convenience sake!! On a scale of 0 to 10..this place is a 12 (& 1/2) and, in comparison to other pizza restaurants in town, it is the best BAR NONE!! Call em up, and tell them I sent ya!! You will NOT regret it! Great Pizzas!: They have the best speciality pizzas at fair price. I have found a new favorite there, which is a BBQ Chicken pizza. Was not to sure about it when ordering, but it turned out to be a great tasting Idea. They also serve micro brews! Can't wait to try their other speciality pizzas.
