There was a long black hair in my food! They the waitress told me it was mine, suggesting that I take the food back and eat it. I will never go back there again!!!
I have to say this...I'm Japanese, and I dont want anyone to think that's Japanese food! It was not good! Sushi was okay but not good. Fish wasn't fresh enough to be used for sushi or sashimi (sliced raw fish). I do admit that their food was not the worst of Japanese food that I've ever had in America. I have tried some Japanese restaurants in WA (except for in Seattle) and AZ. Comparing to those restaurants before, Sakura was better, but yet I didn't like it!! I had Nabe as well, which is seafood cooked in clear broth, was absolutely horrible! They should not say they own a Japanese restaurant, because Nabe didn't taste anything like Japanese food. I agree with people who said Sonobana restaurant was the best. It is owned by Japanese people, and they serve real Japanese food! The chef used own a fish market in Japan. He knows what the good fish is like. I would never go back to Sakura. It was expensive too.
My husband and I are huge fans of the sushi at this place. We pretty much use it as comparison for any new sushi place we eat at. Their food is amazing! We like to treat our selves to a nice dinner at the hibachi tables or in the dining room a couple times a year. We have had several large family gatherings in the private rooms, also. The staff is very friendly and the service exceptional. We will definitely go back soon.
