User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Taj Mahal is opening back up downtown on Eighth Street upstairs (near Shige's Sushi). They should be open in a few weeks (late July, early August 2009). They have been serving food at the Saturday Eighth Street Marketplace for a few weeks now and it has been quite good.

By far the best Indian food restaurant in Boise.....Tandoori Chicken is fall apart tender, but my favorite dish is the Paneer Mahkni with homemade cottage cheese. The owner is always there, makes you feel like a regular even if the visits aren't so.
