    Within the first couple of days arriving to this town, we thought we would give this place a try. I got carry out and sitting in the middle of our empty house I opened the boxes and it didn't look good. But, we were hungry. It tasted ok so we continued to eat. I woke up that night barfing and had to go the ER the next day for food poisoning. Yuck!

    I completely agree with the gentleman below. This experience at golden crown was one of the worst "take out" experiences I have ever had. I a young "broke" college student looking to treat my family to a nice "upper class" dinner. Ordered Kung po Chicken (2) and Sweet sour pork (2). used a coupon (2 of them: Buy one get one 50% off) with the coupon the total came to $32+. Got home... the family dug in... and all four of us were completely shocked at how horrible the food was. Long story short... Spent way too much for a horrible meal. This is coming from someone who doesn't complain about much, Please think of this experience before "testing" this place out. I wish I could get a refund but am too afraid to go back in there. Thanks for your time.

    My wife and I just got done eating, earlier than we wanted to, when we were accompanied by a bunch of bugs infested in the lanterns all over the restaurant. They were dropping into or meal. We told the staff we were done eating and she came over to check out the bugs and made a bunch of excuses, mean while her daughter came out and decided she was going to have words with me. I had said I wasn't going to pay the bill after she continued to argue with me. They were not apologetic at all. I actually suggested to pay half for the meal. We did so and left.
