About:This dowdy place fills the void for a downtown dive bar. Outdated Western decor seems at home with inexpensive cocktails and draft beers. Weekend nights become crowded and occasionally rowdy, but there's never a dull moment. The jukebox plays a variety of cool tunes, and a pool table resides in the back of the narrow establishment. The clientele is diverse, and, every so often, the bar features live music.

    Updated review from the last one that must be more than 5 years old.

    The Cactus, through out my many tavels is the best, most welcoming and comfortable place I've visited. The previous review was on track but things have changed. The people, pool, music and booze are great! Weekends are still crowded but now there's local live entertainment on Wed. nights. Come on down and count on a good time. Just remember that it's not worth your life or that of another to drink and drive!! Have a great time in BoDo!!!!!!!
